Reduction of CO2 emissions by introducing EnneGreen®

On June 1 2021, Asahi Carbon Co., Ltd. started receiving 100% renewable energy by introducing EnneGreen®; reduction of CO2 emissions, from Ennet Corporation (Head office, Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Mr. Naoyuki Taniguchi. Hereafter, Ennet).
Based on the Bridgestone Group environmental mission to “help ensure a healthy environment for current and future generations”, Asahi Carbon established its environmental policy and is actively conducting several environmental initiatives. This time, by introducing EnneGreen®, we started using electric power generated by hydroelectric plants within the same Niigata prefecture as part of those initiatives to contribute towards reducing the environmental burden.
